Memorial Day week-end greetings to you! I hope and pray you are doing well! Although Lorrie and I had hoped to send a monthly enewsletter out today, circumstances have dictated that we postpone that until (hopefully) the second weekend in June.
We continue to be without an Administrative Assistant, as Michelle remains in the hospital. The good news is that she is improving and has been moved out of the Critical Care Unit. When I visited her on Sunday, she expressed how grateful she is to our congregation for our ongoing support. Her address is in the worship bulletin if you’d like to send a card.
More good news is that today the chip was finally installed in our church office phone system that enables callers to leave a message! Messages can now be accessed remotely , as well as in the office.
As we look ahead to a new month, please notice the announcement in Sunday’s worship bulletin that a Congregational Meeting has been called for Sunday, June 13th right after worship. Members may attend in person and remotely.
I also want to share with you that Daniel Best has agreed to take over for Julio Balcells as Chair of Trustees. Julio will remain on the board and on the Property Planning Task Force. I appreciate the dedication of both Julio and Daniel to that demanding position.
I hope to see you in worship this Sunday, whether in person or on Facebook, as we remember and honor the sacrifices made by our veterans to protect our country’s freedom.
In Christ’s love,
