Dear Congregation,
We are ready to celebrate Just Peace Sunday and I hope you’ll come be a part of the special service this Sunday, September 16th. The blue feather “Just Peace Sunday” banner is waving invitingly at the front of the church property, letting those passing by know that our church cares about justice and peace. Your colorful peace prayers and drawings will help decorate the sanctuary, along with peace doves made by the children. We’ll light a Peace Candle and sing peace songs. The children of the church will share their peace activities with us. After worship we’ll gather outside around the Just Peace Banner and blow bubbles after we’ve joined in repeating the lyrics of this song together.
