Film & A Latte

NEXT OUTING FOR “FILM & A LATTE”: The Salesman, nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, by Director Asghar Farhadi (who is well known in Film & a Latte circles for the movie About Elly.  The group is still talking about that ending from 2 years ago!)  Farhadi is back this time with The Salesman.  The film opens with a tense, dramatic scene in which a Tehran apartment building threatens to collapse and its inhabitants frantically struggle to evacuate.  The result is that the central characters, Emad and his wife Rana, must quickly find a temporary apartment while they also prepare to star in a production of Arthur Miller’s play, Death of a Salesman.  Join the group on Monday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Avenue, 33134.  For more info email David Lane at Davidanaizzy@comcast.net.  Sign-up sheet in the Kelsey Building.
