FILM & A LATTE  have chosen their first film for 2017: Silence.  Director Martin Scorsese takes on the question “Is God dead? – and if not, why does God appear to be deaf, blind and dumb in the face of human suffering?  That is a deep dive for any one movie.  Silence fearlessly takes the plunge, emerging in a dizzying climb that frustratingly offers few answers but all right questions.  Thursday, January 19, 7:00 p.m. at Regal Kendall Village Stadium Cinema, located at 8595 SW 124 Avenue, 33183.
