Collecting Small Blankets for SOS Domestic Abuse Shelter through October

The Administrator of Start Off Smart (SOS) spoke at September’s Women’s Group meeting. She was very impressed with our Comfort Boxes and gives her heartfelt Thank you in advance. She asked if we could possibly also collect small blankets, “blankie” to a “throw” size. These would serve as great comforts to the children and for warmth as only basic bedding is supplied.
Margarita found them for $5 at Five and Below on US1 & 136th St and US1 & 184 St. You can purchase, make your own, bring a gently used one or give a donation to Outreach if you choose.
