Very tasty and enjoyable BBQ

Dear Congregation,

Thanks to everyone for a very tasty and enjoyable BBQ after worship last Sunday! Whether you contributed food, grilled, helped with setting up or cleaning up, took the time to be present for mealtime conversation with others, (or played Social Yaks!), please know you are appreciated!

This Sunday is Open and Affirming Sunday. CCC became an Open and Affirming Church on June 12, 2003. We will celebrate that important milestone in worship. The essence of an ONA covenant is that it affirms an explicit WELCOME to persons of all ‘sexual orientations, genders identities, and gender expressions’ (or persons who are ‘lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or nonbinary’) into the full life , ministry, and sacraments of the church (e.g. membership, leadership, employment, marriage). Our church is enriched by the gifts of our GLBTQ+ members.
