Transfiguration Sunday

Dear Congregation,

We had a productive Annual Meeting last Sunday! Updated By-Laws were approved, Lorrie LeGrand was voted in as Treasurer, the Proposed 2025 Budget was approved, and the motion to change the start of worship time to 11 a.m. passed. This new time will begin on Sunday, March 9th. There are paper copies of the Annual Report 2024 available at the back of the Sanctuary. Please take one! Thanks to everyone for a good year at CCC!

This Sunday is Transfiguration Sunday. After worship, which will include Holy Communion, we’ll have our annual Mardi Gras celebration in Kelsey Hall. There will be King Cake and jazz music to enjoy, and we’ll put away the Alleluias for Lent which begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5th.

Our Ash Wednesday worship service begins at 7 p.m. It will include, music, prayer, and reflection in community as we embark on the penitential season of Lent. The Imposition of Ashes will be offered.
