We are the church together!

Dear Congregation,

Thank you for taking the time to read our weekly eblasts! The purpose of our on-line publication is to keep you, our members and friends, informed about what is going on at CCC and in our wider United Church of Christ. I know that you, like me, are deluged by emails, many of which are spam or solicitations to buy products that aren’t remotely of interest. I hope you prioritize our eblast messages and I also hope you respond to invitations in them to click on links to actions you can take to let legislators know how you feel about important justice issues. I have just been recently reminded that public opinion is a very strong influencer that results in hoped-for change. You have at your fingertips the means to make your faith-informed opinions known.

In times past, churches I’ve served would mail out monthly newsletters to members and friends. Sometimes the news in them would have changed or been out of date by the time they were received. Today we’re able to be more timely, and I’m glad for that. We are the church together!
