Sing Truth: Leadership For Resistance and Resilience
Dear Congregation,
Bianca, Jay, Graham and I are safely back from our trip to CONVERGENCE MUSIC PROJECT’S Converging 2025, a workshop titled “Sing Truth: Leadership For Resistance and Resilience “in Columbus, OH. It was a fabulous experience for all of us and we plan to share what we learned with you in the near future. We also got to savor the 60 degree fall weather and the sight of colorful fall leaves as a bonus. Thank you for sending us!
This Sunday is our second Food & Faith lunch and activities after worship. I hope you’ll join members and friends and invite some others in your life to come. Our theme will center around masks we wear, not just at Halloween, but in daily life. God invites us to be the genuine person God created us to be.
In worship we’ll have the joy of welcoming new members to the life of the church. They are Mark Satterfield, and Enid and Jose Torres. Plan to be present as we celebrate them and the gifts they bring.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
God Bless You!
In Christ’s love.
Pastor Candy
