Messy Church at 4 p.m

Dear Congregation,

This Sunday, in both 11 a.m. worship and in Messy Church at 4 p.m., our focus will be on the One Great Hour of Sharing theme BE THE LIGHT as we are called to live out Jesus’ words in Matthew’s Gospel.

“You are the light of the world,” he said. “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

In these politically dark times when we may feel powerless, it is important to be reminded that we were created by God to be light. It’s already in our make-up! The challenge is to share our light with others in ways that are faithful and meaningful. We can’t allow ourselves to hide our light, because our light is needed in this world. Light is powerful because it enables truth to be revealed. It can serve as a beacon for others to follow.

We will explore some ways to be light, as individuals and as a church, in how we choose to live out Christ’s invitation. The world, near and far, needs OUR light!

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

In Christ’s love and light.

God Bless You!

Pastor Candy
