Important Message: Scam Emails Targeting Our Church Community

Dear Christ Congregational UCC Family,

We want to make everyone aware of a scam email that’s been going around. These messages pretend to be from Pastor Candy and may ask you to buy gift cards or “help families in need.”

Please know that these emails are not from Pastor Candy or anyone at Christ Congregational UCC.

Here’s what to do:

Do Not:

• Reply to the email
• Send money or gift cards
• Click on any links or attachments

Do:

• Delete the message right away
• Mark it as spam or phishing
• If you’re unsure, contact the church office at (305) 235-9381 or email office@christcongregationalucc.org to confirm
