Fourth Sunday of Advent
Dear Congregation,
Here we are approaching the Fourth Sunday of Advent already, followed in just a few more days by Christmas Eve. I hope you will be present for these worship services and experience the peace and beauty of this special time in the church.
I was very glad (relieved?) to get my Christmas cards in the mail this week. It’s a job to write the annual Christmas letter that goes along with each card, then address and stamp each one! The redeeming factors are that I am reminded of good times shared with each person as I address their card, and I do love getting the cards and letters that bring me up to date on their lives.
We are blessed by the people who have come into our life, past and present. Christmas is a great time to reflect on that. I am grateful to know each of you and thankful for what you bring to our Christian life together.
May you and yours have a very Merry Christmas celebrating our Savior’s birth. I hope to see you in church this Sunday and on Christmas Eve when our new Praise and Worship Team will join our choir, Jay Harrigan, and Graham Bryan for lovely musical worship services.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Candy
